Iron Marques started with a simple observation: anyone buying, selling or owning an American car in the UK has to piece together information from a dozen different places — Facebook groups, classifieds sites, forums, HPI checks, insurance valuers, club websites — with nowhere that brings it all together.
Having spent two decades in the automotive trade — and been genuinely passionate about American cars for just as long — the last eighteen months have been spent working directly and specifically in the American car market, learning how it actually works: how dealers price stock, what buyers worry about, and where deals go wrong. Iron Marques puts that knowledge into a set of free, genuinely useful tools, backed by an introducer service for anyone who'd rather have someone else handle the matching.
You submit your car's details and your own photos, and we list it free and match it against buyers and specialist dealers in our network — including private buyers with an active want and dealers actively sourcing stock. Selling costs you nothing: buyers pay a flat £45 to be introduced to you, and on this introduction route we take no commission on the sale itself. That's the plan on the roadmap until our bespoke brokerage service goes live — at that point it'll sit alongside this free route as a separate, paid option for anyone who'd rather we handled the whole sale for them, start to finish. Until then, this is it: free to list, £45 to be introduced, no cut of your price.
No giving up ownership, no forecourt fees, no percentage of your sale price, and no waiting on us to travel out and photograph the car ourselves — you stay in control of your car throughout.
